Check that your iPhone supports Apple Pay
Update to the latest iOS version
Sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID
Turn on Location Services if prompted
Add a card to Apple Pay:
Open the Wallet app
Tap the plus (+) button
Select Debit or Credit Card
Follow the on-screen steps to verify the card
Verify your card if required:
Use the bank’s verification method (SMS, app, or online flow)
Complete any additional authentication steps
Set Apple Pay as your default payment method:
Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay
Under Default Card, select the card you want
Choose shipping and contact details:
Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay
Review Contact and Shipping Address options
Use Apple Pay:
In stores: double-click the side button, authenticate, hold your iPhone near the contactless reader
Online or in apps: select Apple Pay at checkout, confirm with Face ID/Touch ID or passcode
In apps on Mac: select Apple Pay, confirm on your iPhone or Apple Watch
Set up Apple Pay on Apple Watch (optional):
Open the Watch app on your iPhone
Go to Wallet & Apple Pay
Follow prompts to add a card and verify
Set up Apple Pay on iPad (optional):
Ensure iPad supports Apple Pay
Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay
Add and verify a card, then set defaults if needed
