Check your computer’s video ports and your monitors’ input ports
Get the correct cables or adapters for each monitor
Power off the computer and monitors
Connect each monitor to the computer
Plug in power for both monitors
Turn on the monitors
Turn on the computer
Open display settings on your computer
Detect the second monitor if it does not appear automatically
Choose Extend display or Duplicate display
Arrange the monitors to match their physical positions
Set the main display if needed
Adjust resolution and refresh rate for each monitor
Apply the settings
Test mouse movement and window dragging across both screens
