Open the Settings app on the iPad
Tap Screen Time
Tap Turn On Screen Time
Tap Continue
Select This is My Child’s iPad if prompted
Set a Screen Time passcode
Confirm the passcode
Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions
Turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions
Tap iTunes & App Store Purchases to control installs, deletions, and in-app purchases
Tap Allowed Apps to choose which built-in apps can be used
Tap Content Restrictions to set age limits for apps, movies, TV shows, books, and web content
Tap Web Content to limit adult websites or allow only specific websites
Tap Privacy to control location, contacts, photos, microphone, and other permissions
Tap Communication Limits to restrict who can be contacted
Tap Downtime to schedule when the iPad can be used
Tap App Limits to set time limits for apps and categories
Tap Always Allowed to choose apps that stay available during Downtime
Tap Family Sharing to manage the child’s iPad from your own device if needed
Keep the Screen Time passcode private
Review settings regularly and update them as needed
