Remove the jokers from the deck
Shuffle the remaining 52 cards thoroughly
Deal 1 card face up in the first pile
Deal 2 cards in the second pile, with only the top card face up
Deal 3 cards in the third pile, with only the top card face up
Deal 4 cards in the fourth pile, with only the top card face up
Deal 5 cards in the fifth pile, with only the top card face up
Deal 6 cards in the sixth pile, with only the top card face up
Deal 7 cards in the seventh pile, with only the top card face up
Place the remaining cards face down as the stock pile
Leave space for four foundation piles above the tableau
Keep the tableau piles arranged from 1 to 7 cards left to right
Turn the top card of each tableau pile face up if needed
