Click the time in the bottom-right corner
Click the Power icon
Wait for the Chromebook to turn off
Press and hold the Power button until the screen turns off
Release the Power button once the Chromebook shuts down
If the Chromebook is frozen, press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds
