Select the data range you want to sort
Go to the Data tab
Click Sort
In the Sort dialog box, choose the column with dates
Under Sort On, select Cell Values
Under Order, choose Oldest to Newest or Newest to Oldest
Click OK
If your data has headers, check My data has headers before sorting
If dates are not sorting correctly, make sure the date values are stored as actual dates and not text
