Open any app that uses the keyboard
Tap and hold the keyboard icon in the lower-right corner of the keyboard
Select Split
To merge it back, tap and hold the keyboard icon again
Select Dock and Merge
If Split is not available, go to Settings
Tap General
Tap Keyboard
Turn on Split Keyboard if the option is shown
