Clean the glass thoroughly with soap and water
Rinse and dry completely
Wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner to remove any residue
Put on gloves and work in a well-ventilated area
Choose a stain made for glass, such as glass paint, enamel, or tinted resin
Apply painter’s tape to protect areas you do not want stained
Test the stain on a small hidden area first
Apply the stain with a brush, sponge, spray, or cloth depending on the product
Use thin, even coats
Let each coat dry fully before applying another
Add additional coats until the desired color is reached
Remove tape carefully after the final coat is dry
Cure the glass according to the product instructions
Seal the stained surface if the product requires it
Avoid washing or handling the glass until fully cured
