How to Start a Snowblower?

Check the fuel level and use fresh fuel

Check the oil level

Make sure the auger and drive controls are released

Set the throttle to fast or start

Turn the fuel valve on, if equipped

Insert the ignition key, if equipped

Set the choke to full

Prime the engine as directed, if equipped

Press the electric start button or connect the starter cord, if equipped

Pull the recoil starter handle until the engine starts

Gradually move the choke to run as the engine warms up

Let the engine warm up briefly before using the snowblower
