Restart the computer
Press the required key during startup
Windows 10 or 11: hold Shift and select Restart
Go to Troubleshoot
Select Advanced options
Select Startup Settings
Click Restart
Press 4 or F4 for Safe Mode
Press 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking
Press 6 or F6 for Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Windows 7: restart the computer
Press F8 before Windows starts
Select Safe Mode
Press Enter
Mac: restart the Mac
Hold Shift immediately after startup
Release Shift when the login window appears
