Go to Meta Ads Manager
Select the ad account
Find the active campaign, ad set, or ad
Click the checkbox next to the item
Toggle the status to Off
Save changes if prompted
To stop all ads, turn off the campaign
To stop only one ad, turn off that ad
To pause temporarily, use the Pause option
To delete the ad, select it and choose Delete
To stop ads from Business Suite, open Ads and turn off the ad
To stop ads from the Facebook app, open Ads Manager and pause the ad
To stop an automated ad, turn off the promotion in the Page settings
To stop billing, make sure no active ads remain
To confirm it stopped, check that the status shows Paused or Off
