Open System Settings
Click Lock Screen
Set “Turn display off on battery when inactive” to a longer time or Never if available
Set “Turn display off on power adapter when inactive” to a longer time or Never if available
Open System Settings
Click Battery
Turn off “Put hard disks to sleep when possible” if shown
Turn off “Slightly dim the display on battery” if needed
Open System Settings
Click Displays
Increase sleep-related display timeout settings if available
Open System Settings
Click Lock Screen
Set “Require password after screen saver begins or display is turned off” as desired
Open Terminal
Run `caffeinate`
Run `caffeinate -d`
Run `caffeinate -i`
Run `caffeinate -s`
Keep the MacBook plugged into power
Keep the lid open
Disable Low Power Mode if enabled
Check for third-party apps that may be forcing sleep
Use Activity Monitor to quit sleep-related utilities if needed
