Click the Stop button in the macOS menu bar
Press Command + Control + Esc
Click the QuickTime Player icon in the Dock and choose Stop Screen Recording
Use the Touch Bar Stop button if available
Force Quit QuickTime Player from the Apple menu if it is frozen
