Open Spotify and start DJ
Tap the three-dot menu or playback options
Look for Crossfade, Gapless Playback, or AutoMix settings
Turn Crossfade off
Set Crossfade duration to 0 seconds
Disable any fade-in or fade-out effects in Spotify settings
Update Spotify to the latest version
Restart the app after changing settings
If using Spotify on desktop, check audio settings for crossfade
If using a connected device, check that device’s own audio transitions are off
If the DJ feature still fades songs, it may be built into the feature and cannot be fully disabled
