Sort out any damaged, moldy, or overripe raspberries
Do not wash raspberries until just before eating or using them
Store them in a shallow container lined with paper towels
Keep them in a single layer if possible
Leave the container slightly open or use a breathable lid
Refrigerate them immediately
Keep them in the coldest part of the refrigerator, not the door
Replace damp paper towels if they become wet
Use them within 1 to 3 days
Freeze raspberries for longer storage
Spread raspberries on a tray to freeze individually before transferring to a freezer bag or container
Remove as much air as possible before sealing frozen raspberries
Label frozen raspberries with the date
Use frozen raspberries within 6 to 12 months
