Use a browser with hardware acceleration disabled
Open Discord and go to User Settings
Go to Advanced and turn off Hardware Acceleration
Restart Discord
Open Netflix in a browser, not the Netflix app
Disable hardware acceleration in the browser settings
Turn off any browser extensions that may interfere with playback
Start the Netflix video before sharing
In Discord, join a voice channel
Click Screen Share
Select the browser window playing Netflix, not the entire screen
Enable sound sharing if available
If black screen appears, try a different browser
If black screen appears, update Discord and your browser
If black screen appears, run Discord as administrator
If black screen appears, disable overlay features
If black screen appears, clear Discord cache
If black screen appears, restart your computer
If black screen persists, use a browser tab instead of a window
If black screen persists, try streaming from a different device
Make sure your Discord and browser are fully updated
