Check local laws and regulations before removing tint
Park the vehicle in a shaded, well-ventilated area
Gather a heat gun or hair dryer, razor blade, plastic scraper, glass cleaner, microfiber towels, and adhesive remover
Lower the window slightly to expose the top edge of the tint
Warm the tint with the heat gun or hair dryer until it softens
Lift one corner of the film with a razor blade or fingernail
Peel the tint back slowly at a shallow angle
Reheat stubborn sections as needed while peeling
Spray adhesive remover on remaining glue
Scrape off adhesive with a plastic scraper or razor blade held flat
Clean the glass with glass cleaner and microfiber towels
Repeat for each window
Dispose of removed tint and adhesive residue properly
