How To Survive In A Nuclear Attack?

Get inside the nearest substantial building immediately

Move to the basement or the most central, windowless room

Stay away from windows, doors, and exterior walls

Lie flat and cover your head if you are caught outside during the blast

If you are outside, get behind a solid barrier and then move indoors as fast as possible

Remove outer clothing if it may be contaminated

Seal contaminated clothing in a plastic bag if available

Wash exposed skin and hair with soap and water

Do not use conditioner on your hair

Put on clean clothing if available

Close windows, doors, vents, and fireplaces
