Open the Contacts app on your device
Sign in to the Google account you want to sync with
Go to Settings
Select Accounts or Accounts and Sync
Choose your Google account
Turn on Contacts sync
Open the Gmail app or Google Contacts app to verify the sync
On iPhone, go to Settings
Tap Contacts
Tap Accounts
Select Gmail
Turn on Contacts
On Android, go to Settings
Tap Passwords and accounts or Users and accounts
Select Google
Tap Account sync
Turn on Contacts
On a computer, go to Google Contacts
Sign in to your Gmail account
Import contacts if needed
Confirm the contacts appear in your Google Contacts list
