Open the Camera app or Photo Booth
Click the camera icon or shutter button
Use the built-in FaceTime camera on your Mac
Press Command + Shift + 4 to capture a selected area of the screen
Press Command + Shift + 3 to capture the full screen
Press Command + Shift + 5 to open screenshot controls
Use QuickTime Player and choose File > New Movie Recording to take a photo from the camera preview
Save the captured image when prompted or from the app menu
