Turn the top layer about 45 degrees
Pry up one edge piece with your fingers
Remove the edge piece
Remove the corner pieces one by one
Continue removing edge and corner pieces until the cube is apart
If needed, gently twist the remaining pieces to free them
Keep track of the center pieces and core if you want to reassemble it later
