Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet
Remove all bedding, pillows, and mattress protectors
Deflate both air chambers using the remote or app
Disconnect the air hoses from the pump or control unit
Remove the pump or control unit from the bed frame
Open the mattress cover zipper
Separate and remove the foam layers and air chambers
Disconnect any internal connectors or clips
Remove the mattress from the base or frame
Take apart the base or frame according to its hardware
Remove legs, rails, slats, or support pieces
Keep screws, bolts, and small parts in labeled bags
Fold or roll mattress components carefully for transport
Reassemble in reverse order at the destination
