Wash your hands
Soak a cotton pad with makeup remover, micellar water, or cleansing oil
Close your eye
Press the pad gently over your lashes for 10 to 20 seconds
Wipe downward along the lashes
Repeat with a fresh pad until the mascara is gone
Use a cotton swab for leftover mascara near the lash line
Rinse your face with lukewarm water
Cleanse your face if needed
Pat the eye area dry
Apply eye cream or moisturizer if desired
