Open the Ring app and turn off any power-related settings if applicable
Remove the security screw at the bottom of the Ring doorbell with the included screwdriver
Slide the doorbell upward or lift it off the mounting bracket, depending on the model
If it is hardwired, turn off power at the breaker before removing it
Disconnect the wires from the back of the unit if it is wired
Remove the mounting screws from the bracket if you want to take off the bracket too
Pull the bracket away from the wall
Store the screws and hardware safely for reinstallation
