Score the border lightly with a wallpaper scoring tool or utility knife
Fill a spray bottle with warm water and a few drops of dish soap
Spray the border until it is thoroughly wet
Let the water soak in for several minutes
Use a putty knife or scraper to lift an edge
Peel the border off slowly
Reapply warm water to stubborn areas
Use a wallpaper remover solution if needed
Scrape off any remaining adhesive
Wipe the wall clean with a damp sponge
Dry the wall completely before repainting or applying new wallpaper
