Use Ozempic exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider
Inject it under the skin once weekly
Choose the same day each week
Inject in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm
Rotate injection sites each time
Take it with or without food
If you miss a dose and it is within 5 days, take it as soon as possible
If more than 5 days have passed, skip the missed dose and take the next dose on your regular day
Do not take two doses within 48 hours
Follow the dose increase schedule your prescriber gives you
Store unused pens in the refrigerator
Do not freeze Ozempic
After first use, store the pen as directed on the label or by your pharmacist
Use a new needle for each injection
Dispose of used needles in a sharps container
