Find a cat in a village or swamp hut
Hold raw cod or raw salmon
Crouch or move slowly toward the cat
Feed the cat the raw fish
Repeat feeding until hearts appear
Wait for the cat to become tamed
Equip a lead if needed to move it
Keep the cat close so it does not wander off
