Find wild cats in villages or around areas with grass and bushes
Get close slowly and do not chase the cat
Hold out your hand with an empty hand
Right-click or tap the cat to attempt taming
Repeat until hearts appear over the cat
Feed the cat raw fish or cooked fish
Continue feeding until hearts appear
After hearts appear, the cat becomes tamed
Stand near the tamed cat to confirm it follows you
Use a name tag on the cat at an anvil to rename it
