Color changes to gray, green, or unusually dark with uneven spotting

Mold growth (any fuzzy or discolored patches)

Liquid pooling that looks abnormal or has a strong odor

Package bloating or excessive gas buildup

Taste is sour or unpleasant (do not taste if you suspect spoilage)

Exceeds the “use by” date or has been stored too long

Has been kept above 40°F (4°C) for more than 2 hours (or 1 hour if above 90°F/32°C)
