Place frozen chicken in a leak-proof bag
Submerge the bag in cold water
Change the water every 30 minutes
Thaw in the refrigerator (plan ahead)
Put chicken in a container on the bottom shelf to catch drips
Use the microwave defrost setting
Cook immediately after microwave thawing
Cook from frozen using higher cook times (check doneness)
Do not thaw at room temperature
Do not refreeze thawed chicken unless cooked
