Lay the dress flat or put it on
Find the two ribbon ends
Cross one end over the other
Pull the first end through the loop
Tighten the knot gently
Make two loops with the ribbon
Cross one loop over the other
Pull one loop through the opening
Tighten both loops evenly
Adjust the bow so both sides are even
Fluff the loops and tails
Re-tie if needed for symmetry
