Cut a length of ribbon
Cross one end over the other to form a loop
Pull one end through the loop to make a simple knot
Make a loop with the left ribbon end
Make a loop with the right ribbon end
Cross one loop over the other
Tuck the top loop through the opening behind the crossed loops
Pull both loops gently to tighten the bow
Adjust the loops and tails until even
Trim the ribbon ends if needed
