Cut a length of ribbon about 2–3 times the width of the package (plus extra for tying).
Wrap the ribbon around the item and cross the ends in the middle.
Tie a simple knot with the two ends.
Make a loop with one end and hold it in place.
Make a second loop with the other end, crossing it over the first.
Pull the second loop through the center to form the bow.
Adjust both loops so they’re the same size.
Pull the loose ends gently to tighten the knot.
Trim ribbon ends to an even length.
Optional: Cut ends at a diagonal or “V” shape.
