Cut a length of ribbon
Cross one end over the other to form a loop
Pull one end through to make a simple knot
Create a loop with each ribbon end
Cross the right loop over the left loop
Fold the top loop behind the bottom loop
Pull the top loop through the opening
Tighten both loops evenly
Adjust the loops and tails until the bow looks balanced
Trim the ends if needed
