Pass the line through the hook eye or swivel
Double back and lay the tag end alongside the standing line
Form a loop with the tag end over the doubled lines
Wrap the tag end around both lines and through the loop 6 to 8 times
Moisten the knot
Pull the tag end to tighten the wraps
Pull the standing line to slide the knot snug against the eye
Trim the tag end close to the knot
