Drape the ascot around your neck with both ends hanging evenly in front
Cross one end over the other
Bring the top end up and through the neck loop
Adjust the knot so it sits comfortably at the base of your neck
Fold the wider end over the narrower end
Bring the wider end around the front and tuck it behind the narrower end
Smooth the front so it lies flat and centered
Tuck the ends into your shirt or waistcoat
Adjust the knot and folds until neat and secure
