Drape the ascot around your neck with both ends hanging evenly in front
Cross one end over the other
Bring the longer end up and through the neck loop
Adjust the knot so it sits centered at the base of your neck
Fold one end over the front of the knot
Bring the other end across the front and tuck it behind the first fold
Smooth the fabric so the knot lies flat
Adjust the ascot so both ends drape neatly over your chest
Secure the ascot with a pin if needed
