Use a soft-bristled toothbrush or electric toothbrush with a small head
Rinse your mouth with water before brushing
Hold the toothbrush at a 45-degree angle to the gumline
Brush above the brackets
Brush below the brackets
Brush directly on top of the brackets
Brush the chewing surfaces of all teeth
Brush the inner surfaces of all teeth
Brush each tooth individually
Use small circular motions
