Sign in with the Google account linked to the Android phone
Select the phone from the device list
View the phone’s location on the map
Ring the phone if it is nearby
Lock the phone remotely if needed
Erase the phone remotely if it is lost or stolen
Make sure Location is turned on on the phone
Make sure Find My Device is enabled on the phone
Make sure the phone is connected to the internet

Sign in with the Samsung account linked to the device
Check the phone’s location in the Samsung account dashboard
Use carrier location services if your mobile carrier offers them
Check Google Maps Timeline if location history was enabled
Ask the phone owner to share live location through Google Maps
Contact local authorities if the phone is stolen
Change passwords for important accounts if the phone cannot be recovered
