Print or draw the image on regular paper
Flip the paper so the inked side will contact the canvas
Place the paper on the canvas in the desired position
Secure the paper with tape so it does not move
Dampen the back of the paper lightly with water or rubbing alcohol
Rub the back of the paper firmly with a spoon, burnisher, or credit card
Lift one corner slowly to check the transfer
Re-rub any areas that did not transfer
Remove the paper completely
Let the transferred image dry
Trace or reinforce the transferred lines if needed
