Open the Venmo app
Tap the menu or profile icon
Go to Settings
Select Payment Methods or Banks & Cards
Tap Add a bank or card
Link your bank account using instant verification or manual routing and account numbers
Verify the bank account if prompted
Go back to the home screen
Tap Pay or Transfer
Choose Add Money or transfer funds to Venmo balance if available
Select your linked bank account as the funding source
Enter the amount
Confirm the transfer
Wait for the transfer to complete
Check your Venmo balance or transaction history for confirmation
