Seek immediate emergency medical care
Confirm diagnosis with pelvic ultrasound and blood hCG testing
Use methotrexate if the pregnancy is unruptured and the patient is stable
Monitor hCG levels until they return to zero after methotrexate
Perform laparoscopic surgery if the tube is ruptured, the patient is unstable, or methotrexate is not suitable
Remove the ectopic pregnancy with salpingostomy or salpingectomy as indicated
Give Rh immunoglobulin to Rh-negative patients when appropriate
Treat shock or heavy bleeding with IV fluids and blood transfusion if needed
Follow up closely with repeat hCG testing and clinical assessment
Seek urgent care immediately for severe pain, fainting, shoulder pain, or heavy vaginal bleeding
