Open iMovie and select your project
Click the video clip in the timeline
Drag the left trim handle inward to trim the beginning
Drag the right trim handle inward to trim the end
Use the playhead to find the exact trim point
Split the clip if you need to remove a middle section
Delete the unwanted portion
Review the trimmed clip by playing it back
Save or export your project
