Open iMovie and import your video
Drag the video to the timeline
Move the playhead to where the subtitle should begin
Click Titles
Choose a title style
Drag the title style above the video clip in the timeline
Type the subtitle text in the viewer
Adjust the subtitle duration by trimming the title clip
Repeat for each subtitle line
Preview the video to check timing
Export the finished video
