Open Bitdefender
Go to Protection
Select Antivirus
Turn off Bitdefender Shield
Choose how long to disable it
Confirm the action
If needed, disable other protection modules the same way
To stop Bitdefender from starting with Windows, open Settings
Go to General
Turn off Bitdefender startup options
To fully exit the app, right-click the Bitdefender icon in the system tray
Select Exit or Close
To re-enable protection, turn the modules back on
