Use the keyboard brightness keys, usually the sun icons on the top row
On Windows, open Settings, then System, then Display, then adjust the Brightness slider
On a laptop, use the Action Center or Quick Settings and move the brightness slider
On a Mac, open System Settings, then Displays, then lower the brightness
On some monitors, use the physical buttons on the monitor to open the menu and reduce brightness
If brightness controls are missing, update your display drivers
If using an external monitor, adjust brightness through the monitor’s built-in menu or software
Turn on Night Light or Night Shift if you want the screen to appear less harsh
