Check whether your keyboard has a backlight key
Press the backlight key or the Fn key plus the backlight key
Try Fn plus the Spacebar if your keyboard uses that shortcut
Increase the brightness using the keyboard backlight controls
Open your computer’s keyboard settings and enable keyboard backlighting
Make sure the keyboard is connected properly if it is external
Charge the keyboard or replace its batteries if it is wireless
Restart your computer if the lights still do not turn on
Update your keyboard or device drivers if needed
