Open Settings
Tap Messages
Turn off iMessage if you want to stop Apple Messages
Tap Text Message Forwarding and disable any connected devices
Go to Settings
Tap Cellular or Mobile Data
Disable SMS-related messaging apps if applicable
Contact your carrier to block SMS on your line if you want to stop all text messages
Turn on Do Not Disturb or Focus to silence incoming messages without disabling SMS
Use Screen Time to restrict Messages if needed
