Plug in the charger if the battery is low
Open the laptop lid
Locate the power button
Press the power button once
Wait for the HP logo or startup screen to appear
If it does not turn on, hold the power button for 10 to 15 seconds
Release the power button
Press the power button again
If still unresponsive, connect the charger and try again
If needed, remove and reconnect the battery only if it is removable
