Press the keyboard backlight key, usually marked with a light icon or a keyboard icon
Use the Fn key plus the backlight key if required
Increase the backlight brightness with the backlight up key
Check the keyboard settings in your device settings if the backlight does not turn on
Make sure your device supports a backlit keyboard
